US Rock Band Manager Sentenced in Russia

Travis Leake, a US rock band manager, received a 13-year sentence in a Russian court, on drug charges.

Officials revealed that Valeria Grobanyuk, Leake’s acquaintance, was also arrested. Police searched Leake’s apartment earlier this week. They found a suspicious substance, scales, and ziploc bags.

If found guilty, Leake could face up to 12 years in jail. On Russia’s VK social media platform, Leake describes himself as a singer in a Russian band named ‘Lovi Noch’ (Catch the Night).

The court press office said Leake previously served in the US army.
